Container Inspector (West / 5.5 days) [EL]
Summary
Performs on-site inspections of shipping containers, documenting damage and liaising with customers; requires physical ability and height certification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical inspections of containers during gate-in and gate-out operations.
- Take photographs of containers when required for documentation purposes.
- Assess the extent of container damage, recommend repair methods, and prepare repair reports.
- Communicate and liaise with customers regarding container damage issues.
- Assist in joint container inspections with customers, surveyors, or external parties.
Requirements
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Basic computer literacy is required.
- Able to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Comfortable working at height (approximately 3m) when climbing onto chassis for inspection.
- Willing to work in an outdoor environment.
- Must have work at height (3m) cert
