Content Analyst - Aftermarket Parts Researcher
Summary
The Content Analyst researches, standardizes, and maps automotive aftermarket parts data into proprietary databases. The role requires strong industry knowledge of vehicle systems and parts catalogs to ensure data accuracy and quality.
Research and interpret vehicle and aftermarket parts information from descriptions, websites, brochures, repair orders, and service records.
Standardize and map data by year, make, model, system, location, component, manufacturer, supplier, and brand.
Edit, clean, enter, and load content into databases using proprietary tools.
Troubleshoot data-loading issues and perform quality assurance checks.
Collaborate with developers and technical teams to meet product requirements and deadlines.
Assist with customer concerns and adapt to changing business needs.
Required Qualifications
Knowledge of vehicle parts, systems, repair operations, and industry terminology for light-, medium-, and heavy-duty vehicles.
Experience with aftermarket parts, manufacturers, suppliers, dealerships, OEMs, or parts catalogs.
Strong analytical, data-entry, editing, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively remotely.
Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Passion for the automotive industry.
Associate degree or equivalent industry experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Automotive or truck-repair certification or technical education.
Three or more years of OEM, aftermarket, dealership, or catalog experience.
Familiarity with Electronic Parts Catalogs, ACES, PIES, automotive taxonomies, Access, MySQL, Word, and Excel.
Experience with database applications and proprietary industry tools.
