Content Manager
Description
At OnTheGoSystems, the company behind WPML, powering more than 1,5 million production websites, we’re looking for an experienced content specialist who can lead our content and take ownership of its quality and results.
We use AI every day, and it has changed how content gets written. A decent first draft is now easy to get. What’s still hard is knowing what’s worth publishing, how to make it really good, and how to tell if it worked. That’s the job.
What You’ll Work On
You’ll decide what we publish and make sure it’s good.
- Editing: improve new and existing content so it’s clear, accurate and useful to readers.
- AI-assisted writing: use AI tools to create and improve drafts while keeping the bar high.
- Direction: set priorities and choose the content that will bring the most value.
- Results: track how content performs, improve its visibility in Google and AI search (SEO/GEO/AEO), and act on the data.
- Experiments: try new topics and formats, see what works, and do more of it.
- Working with experts: work with our CEO, developers, and product teams to turn technical knowledge into clear, engaging content.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- You’ve spent years creating and editing high-quality content and have strong editorial judgment and writing skills.
- You’ve led a small team of writers and helped them grow with useful feedback.
- You care more about quality and impact than about how much gets published.
- You’ve been responsible for content results and can show what you achieved and how it helped the business.
- You’ve done SEO and AI-search optimization yourself, not only managed people who did it.
- You use AI well in your writing and editing, and you know when your own judgment matters more.
- You’ve worked with software, SaaS or other technical content, and you can explain complex products simply.
- You're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, making decisions, and checking the results without detailed instructions.
