As a Project Control Leader within our Engineering and Projects team in the Industrial Unit, you will be responsible for ensuring that capital investment projects are executed within budget, time, and quality standards, serving as a strategic bridge between finance, engineering, and operations. Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee project progress, ensuring compliance with established deadlines and budgets

  • Implement financial controls to track project expenses against budgeted costs

  • Coordinate with the project team on cost and schedule management, acting as a liaison with procurement to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services

  • Prepare periodic reports on project status, risks, and variances for stakeholders and senior management

  • Report and address requirements from Controller and Financial roles in Global Engineering and LATAM

  • Manage change orders and contract modifications to maintain control over project scope

  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, including engineering, maintenance, finance, and operations

  • Conduct risk assessments to mitigate potential impacts on project success and ensure compliance with industry regulations

About you

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in project control roles, specifically in financial control and schedule management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or related industry

  • Technical skills: Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls; proficiency in Microsoft Project and financial software (PowerBI, SHINE); knowledge of project schedule control

  • Soft skills: Leadership, strategic thinking, ability to influence others, results-oriented, highly organized, demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams

  • Education: Professional in Finance, Engineering, or Chemistry

  • Languages: Intermediate English (capable of holding business conversations)
