Summary
Develops motor control algorithms (FOC, PI/PID regulators) for electric machines using MATLAB/Simulink and TargetLink, ensuring model quality and test coverage for automotive powertrains.
Responsible for developing classical & modern Control system algorithms using Mathworks tools
Develop and tune field-oriented control (FOC) algorithms including d-axis and q-axis (torque-forming) current controllers
Design and implement PI/PID current regulators for various requirements
Develop the torque demand arbitration and path from driver request (accelerator pedal / HMI) down to motor torque set-point
Model and simulate PMSM / IPMSM / EESM machine behavior for controller design
Implement torque coordination between HV battery, inverter, and e-machine
Responsible for Test Specifications, Code Coverage, Model Quality and Model Validation (MIL, SIL) to ensure that developed model is bug-free and adheres to Model and code guidelines.
Review of existing test cases, propose and implement new test cases required for 100% code coverage
Support the team in Mscripting and Python for automation
Hands on Mathworks tools, Matlab , Simulink, Targetlink/ Embedded coder
