Cook/Attendant (Intermediate level) for Employee Cafeteria - Hyatt: Tempe Mission Palms Hotel

The Role

The Intermediate Cook/Cafeteria Attendant is responsible for preparing and maintaining a multi-item, hot and cold lunch menu created by the Executive Chef. This includes prepping, cooking and displaying in the staff dining room, maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room, and breaking down after the lunch period. Previous experience is required; cooking in a restaurant kitchen, banquet or catering experience is preferred. Opportunity to grow into other culinary positions throughout the hotel.

• Set up and clear dining room daily. Dining room is located up a flight of stairs, so the ability to carry things up and down stairs is required.
• Candidates should be able to perform all basic and intermediate cooking skills.
• Keep dining area clean, wipe down tables and counters and refill paper towel dispenser.
• Ensure coffee and soda station is stocked at all times.
