About Cabot-Managed Properties

Since 2022, Cabot has managed the strategy and operations of four exceptional golf courses across the United States, including Cascata and Serket in Las Vegas, Nevada, Grand Bear in Saucier, Mississippi, and Chariot Run in Laconia, Indiana.

Cascata Golf Club

Nestled amongst the spectacular red-rock mountains above the Las Vegas Valley is Cascata Golf Club. With panoramic views of the River Mountain Range, world-class practice facilities, tour caliber caddies, and a breathtaking 32,000-square-foot Tuscan-inspired clubhouse, the golf experience offered at Cascata is truly one-of-a-kind.

Position Overview

The Cook is responsible for all food product produced at the golf club. The Cook will work closely with the Food and Beverage team, including Cooks and Food Servers, to create excellent and timely food. The Cook will report to the Sous Chef.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and present each food item in accordance with standardized recipes
  • Assist the culinary leadership team in prepping and executing large-scale banquet menus for weddings, tournaments, and corporate events.
  • Work collaboratively on the banquet plating line, ensuring speed, consistency, temperature control, and beautiful presentation for every guest.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting volumes and banquet timelines to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Scale recipes accurately to meet the high-volume demands of both daily restaurant service and large banquet events.
  • Ensure all prep work meets established quality, taste, and presentation standards.
  • Properly store all food & produce
  • Maintain a clean work environment, including ensuring compliance for all local health codes for storing and maintaining food product
  • Comply with established sanitation standards, including personal hygiene, health standards, and proper food preparation and handling techniques
  • Clean and maintain stations, utensils, and all other kitchen surfaces
  • Maintain open, positive, and constructive communication with front-of-house staff, banquet servers, and fellow culinary team members.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a Cook
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment managing multiple orders at once
  • Strong organization skills

In addition, the ideal candidate will be or have:

  • Previous experience as a Cook or Kitchen Supervisor
  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant, resort, golf club, or banquet facility is highly preferred.
