Coordinator - Residential
Summary
Supervises daily clinical activities for a Residential Services Program, coordinating medical and psychiatric care for group home residents while managing and training Residential Clinical Supervisors, Behavioral Health Assistants, and Technicians for compliance with DHS 83 regulations.
Job Purpose: This is a supervisory position that encompasses overall clinical management of the consumers of the Residential Services Program. Duties include oversight of medical and psychiatric care coordination for assigned group home residents as well as training, supervising, and evaluating Residential Services staff for compliance with DHS 83 State regulations and Individualized Service Plan facilitation.

- Supervises the daily activities, coordinates resources, and sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion at a satisfactory level in all aspects of clinical care.
- Trains and schedules Residential Clinical Supervisors, Behavioral Health Assistants and Behavioral Health Technicians in accordance with DHS 83 and agency policy and procedures
- Communicates with clients, staff, and physicians to ensure timely and complete written documentation.
- Oversees all Residential Supervisors in regard to admissions, ISP’s, and resident cares.
- Monitors compliance with DHS 83 regulations for development, review, and implementation of client treatment plans and resident rights.
- Conducts intake assessments for all possible new resident admissions.
- Assists Residential Supervisors during after-hours on-call during clinical emergencies, scheduling emergencies or vacancies. Provides coverage as necessary during direct care staff shortages and call offs.
- Provides clinical and operational support of CBRF’s during times of Residential Supervisory vacancy or time off.
- Assists with transportation for clients during Residential Supervisor or BHA time off or vacancy.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings, in-service training seminars and conferences as required.
- Works in partnership with the quality department to develop appropriate measures in support of program outcomes.
- Participates in department quality planning activities, (e.g. continuous improvement, Logic models, performance metrics, etc.,)
- Performs special assignments and or projects as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Performs human resources responsibilities for employees which includes onboarding, training, coaching on performance, completes performance reviews and overall employee morale. Recommends hiring, terminations, compensation changes, promotions, corrective action decisions and terminations. Reviews and approves the accurate report of time.
- Responsible for ensuring that personal actions, and actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations, and laws applicable to the program funders, contracts, and CFI business.
