Corporate Business Development Manager (Data Specialist)

We seek a passionate and results-oriented Corporate Business Development Manager to drive the adoption of IEEE’s advanced data and analytics products within specific engineering domain like transportation, telecommunications and energy. This role requires the ability to quickly learn specialized engineering applications and interface technically with prospects and customers which are typically SMEs/PHDs.

In this role you will collaborate closely with data scientists, sales teams, and clients to enhance product capabilities, drive sales, and ensure customer success. Your technical acumen, combined with strong interpersonal skills, will be essential for building relationships with high-level technical experts in academia, industry and government.

This is a remote role with 25% travel expectation and opportunity for incentive pay and commission.

Key Responsibilities\:

Sales Enablement\: Collaborate with the sales teams to identify target markets, customer contacts, generate leads through prospecting efforts

Customer Success\: Provide comprehensive sales support, training, and onboarding to ensure customer satisfaction and product adoption. Articulate product value, address customer needs, and drive sales to advanced technical SMEs/PHDs

Market Intelligence\: Assist Product Development to conduct market research, analyze competitive landscapes, and identify opportunities for product enhancement and expansion.

By driving the adoption of IEEE’s advanced data and analytics products, you will contribute directly to revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be instrumental in building strong customer relationships and fostering innovation within the engineering community.
