The Role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Finance Manager to join our Advisory team in Balbriggan/Dublin City Centre.


This is a full-time, permanent position operating on a hybrid basis, with four days per week in the office and the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.


Reporting to the Corporate Finance Director, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality corporate finance and transaction advisory services to a portfolio of mid-market and SME clients. You will manage transactions from initial planning through to completion, build trusted relationships with business owners and management teams, and support the continued growth of our Corporate Finance service offering.

What You'll Be Working On

As a Corporate Finance Manager, you will gain exposure to a broad range of practical advisory and transaction services for privately owned, mid-market and SME businesses, including:


  • Financial due diligence.
  • Financial modelling and forecasting.
  • Independent business reviews.
  • Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory.
  • Business plan preparation and strategic planning.
  • Fundraising, debt negotiation and refinancing.
  • Corporate restructuring, including both formal and informal restructuring assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver a portfolio of corporate finance engagements for mid-market and SME clients from planning through to completion.
  • Supervise, mentor and support a junior team member, providing technical guidance and contributing to their professional development, including performance reviews where appropriate.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners, management teams and key client stakeholders, ensuring an exceptional standard of client service at all times.
  • Liaise directly with clients, financial institutions, legal advisers and other stakeholders throughout assignments.
  • Prepare and review financial models, business valuations, transaction reports and other client deliverables tailored to the needs of mid-market and SME businesses.
  • Maintain and develop your technical knowledge through continuous professional development and fulfil the requirements of your professional body.
  • Assist with business development activities, including preparing proposals, pitching for new work and participating in presentations to prospective mid-market and SME clients.
  • Contribute to the continued growth and development of the Corporate Finance team and service offering.
  • Attend internal meetings, technical updates and training sessions as required.
  • Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role, as requested by the Director.
  • Uphold the firm's values, professional standards, code of ethics and business conduct at all times.


What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • ACA, ACCA or CFA qualified (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in corporate finance, transaction services, audit, advisory or investment banking.
  • Strong experience managing corporate finance transactions from commencement to completion.
  • Excellent financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and commercial drivers.
  • Experience preparing client reports and presenting findings to senior stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
