Corrosion Control Supervisor (DOT)

This position is limited to employees who are in the Customer Service and Gas Operations / Distribution divisions.

Primary Purpose
Oversees a team in field execution of corrosion control activities to ensure safety, compliance, and operational reliability. Coordinates resources and provides technical guidance to achieve program objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Leads failure analysis investigations for critical corrosion incidents in coordination with forensic teams and supports implementation of corrective actions.
• Supervises the field implementation of corrosion control monitoring systems, ensuring proper installation, data functionality, and compliance with design standards.
• Approves solutions for coating failures and cathodic protection and participates in Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) reviews to ensure issues are addressed.
• Implements corrosion management activities and supports on-stream monitoring and risk-based inspections (RBI) according to requirements.
• Promotes visible safety leadership and contributes to a strong safety culture through continuous team engagement and improvement initiatives.
• Assigns crew resources to meet reliability, customer, and financial objectives.
• Monitors execution and documentation of work to ensure alignment with policies, procedures, labor agreements, and regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
