Summary

Designs and maintains corrosion protection systems for construction assets, conducting inspections and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsible for implementing corrosion prevention strategies, the Corrosion Protection Engineer monitors protective systems and ensures structural integrity across construction assets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement corrosion protection systems.

- Conduct site inspections and surveys.

- Recommend protective coatings and materials.

- Prepare technical reports and risk assessments.

- Monitor cathodic protection systems.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards.

- Coordinate with contractors and QA/QC teams.

- Troubleshoot failures and propose corrective actions.



Requirements

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

- Certified and registered professional.

- 5+ years of experience in corrosion prevention.

- Knowledge of coating systems and cathodic protection.

- Familiarity with international corrosion standards.

- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.

- Experience with oil & gas or infrastructure projects.

- Good communication and reporting abilities.
