Responsible for implementing corrosion
prevention strategies, the Corrosion Protection Engineer monitors protective
systems and ensures structural integrity across construction assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement corrosion protection
systems.
- Conduct site inspections and surveys.
- Recommend protective coatings and
materials.
- Prepare technical reports and risk
assessments.
- Monitor cathodic protection systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry
standards.
- Coordinate with contractors and QA/QC
teams.
- Troubleshoot failures and propose
corrective actions.
Requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Certified and registered professional.
- 5+ years of experience in corrosion
prevention.
- Knowledge of coating systems and cathodic
protection.
- Familiarity with international corrosion
standards.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with oil & gas or
infrastructure projects.
- Good communication and reporting
abilities.
