Summary
Cost Engineer prepares budgets, tracks expenses, and controls costs for offshore EPC projects in Shenzhen, using cost analysis and international commercial standards.
Complete tender cost estimation and technical quotation analysis for offshore EPC projects, including engineering, procurement, fabrication, transportation and site construction costs.
Establish project baseline budget and cost breakdown structure, sort out cost control benchmarks, and formulate overall project cost control strategies.
Track and monitor project actual cost consumption regularly, analyze cost deviation between actual and budgeted data, identify cost risks and propose effective optimization and control measures.
Evaluate engineering changes, site variations and extra work, complete cost review, quotation calculation and commercial confirmation with clients and subcontractors.
Responsible for subcontractor cost review, price comparison analysis and payment application verification, control subcontract cost and prevent cost overruns.
Compile regular cost analysis reports, project cost final accounts and settlement documents, summarize project cost data, and support subsequent project cost benchmark accumulation.
Familiar with cost composition and quotation rules of offshore topside, module and FPSO EPC projects.
Experienced in variation order evaluation, subcontract cost management and project final settlement work.
Familiar with international project commercial standards and possesses fluent technical and commercial English capabilities.
