Costing & Sourcing Executive (Electronics Manufacturing)
- Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, and compare pricing to support procurement and quotation activities.
- Prepare product costing, BOM cost analysis, and pricing proposals to ensure competitive and accurate quotations.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms while identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Maintain supplier relationships, monitor vendor performance, and support purchasing and inventory planning activities.
- Work closely with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Sales to ensure timely sourcing and project execution.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in costing, sourcing, or procurement within the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), electronics manufacturing, or semiconductor industry.
- Hands-on experience sourcing electronic components, PCB assemblies, and related manufacturing materials, with knowledge of BOM costing and RFQ processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems (e.g. SAP).
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
