Summary
Costing and sourcing role in manufacturing: evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, prepare cost analyses, and support procurement activities.
Job Description:
Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors.
Request and compare quotations (RFQs).
Prepare detailed cost analyses and product cost breakdowns.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Monitor material costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain supplier relationships and performance records.
Support procurement, budgeting, and inventory planning activities.
Ensure compliance with company sourcing and purchasing policies.
Requirements :
Diploma or in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in costing, sourcing, procurement, or purchasing within an EMS/manufacturing environment.
