Crewing Manager (Offshore and Subsea)
We were tasked to source for a seasoned Crewing Manager with strong experience in managing crew operations for Dive Support Vessels (DSVs) or other subsea/offshore vessels. The ideal candidate will lead a small team of Crewing Executives and be responsible for the end-to-end crewing function, ensuring the vessels are manned with qualified, competent, and certified personnel at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the crewing operations across a fleet of vessels, ensuring timely crew changes and compliance with regulatory and client requirements.
Supervise and mentor a team of Crewing Executives, ensuring high performance and effective collaboration.
Develop and maintain a robust database of qualified offshore marine personnel with relevant DSV/subsea experience.
Coordinate with operations, technical, and commercial departments to align crewing plans with project schedules.
Ensure all crew certifications, medicals, visas, and travel arrangements are up to date and compliant with flag state, client, and international regulations (e.g., STCW, MLC).
Liaise with manning agents, training centers, and other third-party providers as required.
Monitor crew performance and conduct evaluations and feedback in collaboration with vessel management teams.
Maintain accurate records and produce regular reports on crewing KPIs and budgets.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of crewing experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
Proven track record in crewing offshore vessels, especially Dive Support Vessels (DSVs) or other subsea assets.
Strong knowledge of crewing regulations, maritime labor conventions, and offshore personnel requirements.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proficient in crewing software and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic offshore marine environment.
