Crypto Options Trader

You will contribute to a trading book, generating revenue while managing risk for the business. You'll implement volatility models and maintain real-time volatility surfaces for crypto assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, acting as a principal market maker across various crypto assets. You'll monitor and manage the trading book's risk, keeping Delta, Gamma, Vega, Theta, and Rho exposures within strict limits. You'll develop and refine systematic strategies to identify short-term mispricing and execute market-making operations. You'll partner with developers to backtest, prototype, and deploy new options strategies, and help develop new products for distribution. You'll also perform deep-dive P&L and Greek exposure analysis to evaluate performance and optimize trading models, working closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to ensure proper governance and controls.

Responsibilities

• Perform deep-dive P&L and Greek exposure analysis to evaluate performance and optimize trading models
• Work closely with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Finance to ensure governance and control infrastructure

Requirements

• Degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Economics from a top-tier institution
• Typically 3+ years of hands-on experience in options trading (equities, FX, or crypto) and algorithmic market making
• Strong programming capabilities, particularly in Python
• In-depth understanding of FX, equity and crypto market mechanics (CeFi, DeFi, perpetual futures, and margin models)
