Cutting & Stitching Operator
- Operate and maintain cutting and stitching machines for the production of bags, including lohia bags and other custom designs.
- Accurately cut fabric and materials according to specified patterns and dimensions using manual or automated cutting equipment.
- Perform precise stitching using industrial sewing machines, ensuring consistent stitch quality, alignment, and durability.
- Inspect finished products for defects, inconsistencies, or deviations from quality standards before final packaging.
- Follow safety protocols and conduct routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
- Collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily production targets and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Adhere to hygiene, safety, and quality control standards in accordance with company and industry regulations.
- Report equipment issues or material shortages promptly to relevant personnel.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of hands-on experience in cutting and stitching operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in operating industrial sewing machines and cutting tools, particularly in bag manufacturing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in lohia bag stitching techniques and pattern-based cutting processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, templates, and production specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality output.
- Basic understanding of fabric types, seam strength, and stitching standards.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced production setting.
- Familiarity with workplace safety practices and equipment handling procedures.
