Cyber Architect
Summary
A 9-month contract Cyber Architect role (with possible extension) based in Brisbane CBD, placed with a Queensland Government Cyber Security Unit. The architect designs reusable whole-of-government cyber security architectures, roadmaps, and technical standards, policies and frameworks.

Your responsibilities:
- Manage the updating of the technical cyber security standards, policies, frameworks, and guidelines that align with the Queensland Government Enterprise Architecture.
- Develop cyber security technology roadmaps, approaches and architectures dealing with new and emerging cyber security challenges.
- Contribute to the development of cyber security services to enhance the overall government cyber security posture and address current and emerging threats.
- Lead the planning and design of robust security architectures for new services or initiatives by CSU.
- Attend and present at Cyber Security Communities of Practice.
- Provide targeted technical advice to CSU and Queensland Government entities to inform approaches to cyber related issues and adopting CSU services.
- Experience in developing multi-stakeholder complex cyber security enterprise architectures and roadmaps.
- Extensive experience in developing high-quality cyber security solution architecture documentation, including required specifications and assessments.
- Demonstrated high level experience in senior technical stakeholder engagement and provide professional informative advice to influence operations.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and problem solve identifying mitigations to business associated with cyber threats.
- Highly developed interpersonal communication and written skills.
- Proven ability to understand technical complexity and present it to both technical and non-technical audiences.
