Cyber Security Architect x 2

Salary: Up to $150 per hour

An opportunity is available for 2 experienced Cyber Architect's to join a specialist cyber security function delivering enterprise-scale security architecture, standards and strategic initiatives across a large and complex environment.

These positions will suit senior cyber professional's who can operate across both enterprise and solution architecture, translate emerging cyber threats into practical architectural responses, and confidently influence senior technical and non-technical stakeholders.

These role's will be working within an established cyber security architecture team, you will help shape security strategy, architecture and technology roadmaps while contributing to the development of reusable security capabilities and services.

• Brisbane CBD location: Hybrid
• Paying up to $150 per hour
• Contract to June 2027 with 12 month extension
• Must be an Australian citizen to apply

You will:

• Develop and maintain cyber security architectures, standards, frameworks and technical guidelines.
• Create cyber security technology roadmaps addressing current and emerging security challenges.
• Lead the architecture and design of secure services, platforms and strategic initiatives.
• Produce high-quality solution and enterprise architecture documentation, specifications and assessments.
• Provide senior-level technical cyber security advice to a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Analyse cyber threats, risks and technical complexity and recommend appropriate mitigations.
• Contribute to the development and uplift of enterprise cyber security capabilities.
• Present architecture concepts and technical recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in cyber security architecture forums and communities of practice.

About you You will bring significant experience working in complex enterprise environments, ideally where architectures need to accommodate multiple business units, agencies or stakeholder groups.

You will have:

• Strong experience developing complex, multi-stakeholder cyber security enterprise architectures and roadmaps.
• Extensive experience producing cyber security solution architecture documentation.
• A strong understanding of cyber security architecture, controls, threats and risk mitigation.
• Demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior technical stakeholders.
• The ability to translate complex technical concepts for executive and non-technical audiences.
• Strong written communication, consultation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capability.

Experience across areas such as Operational Technology, AI security / Frontier AI, or Modern Defensible Architecture will be highly regarded.

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, TOGAF or SABSA would also be advantageous.
