Dance Instructor
Description: Dance instructors provide a structured class teaching students in variety of dances such as hip-hop, ballet, tap, jazz, hula, and break dancing.
- Dance instructors teach children ranging in age from 3 to 17 years old the basics of dance techniques and routines.
- Dance instructors create lesson plans for each class and choreograph routines for performances and events.
- Dance instructors coordinate the registration of participants.
- All sports instructors assist in the success of all sports program duties such as fundraising, special events, and marketing.
- All sports instructors ensure the safety of all program participants.
- Hours: Part-time, non-exempt
- Must be available from Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm, and Sunday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm
- Wage: $16.90 per hour
- Worksite: Anaheim Downtown Youth Center, Anaheim Downtown Community Center, West Anaheim Youth Center, and Anaheim Family YMCA Administration Office
