Data Advisor – Data Governance & Management

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and design sustainable data solutions that provide immediate value and long-term reliability.
• Contribute to the evolution of data governance methodologies by providing feedback from practical field implementations.
• Coach and advise stakeholders, including data owners and stewards, on data management practices and the use of the data platform.
• Review and maintain a transversal business glossary to ensure a common language and clear data definitions across the organization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary product teams to align expectations and drive data-driven innovation.
• Facilitate workshops and bring stakeholders from diverse backgrounds together to converge on technical and functional data solutions.

Requirements

• You possess 4+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality Management, Metadata Management, and Master Data Management.
• You bring the ability to rapidly understand complex business processes and translate them into data management requirements.
• You're an analytical problem-solver with a result-driven approach and a product-oriented mindset.
• You have strong facilitation and coaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both business and IT stakeholders.
• You are fluent in English with fluency in Dutch, French, or German.

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of Data Classification, Data Privacy, Data Security, and CIA measures.
• Experience with Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Big Data environments.
• Familiarity with Data Modeling, Data Integration, and APIs.
• Previous professional experience within the utilities or energy sector.
