To design, build and enable effective data, analytics, and AI solutions by understanding data environments, translating business needs into well-structured AI-ready data, and delivering practical, user-focused solutions that drive insight and business value.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse existing data structures, models and flows, and design best-practice data architecture solutions.
- Design and build dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions to support business decision-making.
- Design, configure and build AI agents / copilots for internal users.
- Contribute to the AI strategy with focus on practical enablement and business value.
- Work across data, analytics and AI platforms to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Translate business requirements into scalable data, analytics and AI solutions.
- Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, solution architects and business stakeholders.
- Ensure high data quality, governance and documentation.
- Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data, Analytics or related field.
- Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
- Experience in a data/analytics-focused role (Data Analyst, BI Developer, Technical Business Analyst, Data Engineer or AI Specialist).
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and analytics solutions (Power BI, Qlik or similar).
- Proven ability to translate business needs into data/analytics/AI solutions.
- Experience working with relational databases and data modelling.
Ideal / Advantageous
- Experience in financial services or banking.
- Exposure to AWS cloud platforms.
- Practical experience building or configuring AI agents, copilots or LLM-based solutions .
- Experience with APIs and data integration.
- Postgraduate qualification or AI/Data certifications.
- Strong data modelling and analytical thinking.
- Hands-on BI development and visualisation skills.
- Ability to build and iterate AI-enabled solutions.
- Excellent communication – able to explain technical concepts to business users.
- Proactive, curious and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
- Strong ownership, collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
