Data Analyst/Analytics Engineer for Business Analytics Developments
Summary
A consulting engagement (starting Oct 2026, ~3 months, extendable) for a senior Data Analyst/Analytics Engineer who builds trusted semantic models and Power BI reports on a data lakehouse for a construction-industry client in Stockholm. Day to day involves data modeling with Power BI/Fabric, SQL and dbt, documenting deliveries, and educating end-users. ~2 days/week on-site.

Start: 2026-10-01
End: 2026-12-31 (Will most likely get extended with 6 months at the time after new year)
Location: Stockholm, around 2 days/week at the office
About the assignment
Business Analytics team is looking for a Data Analyst with the skills to build trusted semantic models based on information in our data lakehouse for enterprise reporting within the following areas:
- Development and maintenance of reports & semantic models
- Enhancing our ways of working and procedures for building trusted enterprise data models
-High knowledge and understanding of the tool Power BI/Fabric and can in a pedagogical way educate and help end-users to thrive in their role as Business Analysts.
-A role that collaborates with and supports other roles involved in the development of content for decision making.
-Understands and contributes to architecture and design guidelines for Business Analytics data foundation.
-Document deliveries according to documentation policy
-Work with specification of demands for delivery of data and analytical data models.
Your profile
Must haves:
English and Swedish
Experience from building data models and reports in Power BI (Senior or Advisor)
Experience from Data Modelling (Senior)
Experience from knowledge sharing/education in Power BI and data usage
Experience in Access Management/Information Security
Experience of working in agile teams
Experience from SQL (Senior)
Experience of working with DBT
Nice to have:
Experience of tabular models in analysis services
Experience of Fabric
Experience in working with databases, data warehouses, data lakes or similar in a Cloud environment
Experience of working in Azure DevOps
Experience of working in an environment with Databricks
Experience in IT Architecture
