Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer
Summary
Remote Senior Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer who independently leads analytical projects end to end: processing large datasets, generating insights, and building dashboards for business and technology stakeholders. Core stack is SQL, Python/PySpark, Airflow, and BI tools like Tableau, Looker Studio, and Power BI.

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst / Analytics Engineer to work with large-scale datasets and deliver data-driven solutions supporting business decision-making. The role combines hands-on SQL, Python/PySpark, Airflow, and BI tools with advanced data analysis, dashboard development, and translating complex findings into clear business recommendations. The consultant will independently lead analytical projects, working closely with business and technology stakeholders from defining analytical questions through data processing, insight generation, and final delivery.
Responsibilities
- Analyse and process large datasets
- Extract meaningful insights from data and translate them into concrete business recommendations
- Build and develop analytical solutions supporting business decision-making
- Create clear data visualisations and dashboards
- Independently manage analytical projects from planning through delivery
- Work with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams
- Translate business needs into analytical questions and data-driven solutions
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in data analytics
- Hands-on experience working with large datasets
- Strong SQL skills
- Practical experience with Python and/or PySpark
- Experience with data processing / workflow tools such as Airflow
- Experience with Tableau, Looker Studio and/or Power BI
- Strong analytical skills and ability to draw relevant conclusions from complex datasets
- Ability to translate analysis into specific business recommendations
- Ability to independently plan and deliver analytical projects
- Proactive approach and strong ownership
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to connect technical/data topics with business requirements
- Good spoken and written English
