Data Analyst (Banking and Financial Services)
About the role
The Data Migration & Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, profiling, cleansing, validating, transforming, and preparing data from the organization's legacy ERP system for migration to a new ERP platform. The role requires a highly analytical and independent individual who can assess data quality issues, determine appropriate treatment of inconsistent or incomplete records, and make fact-based recommendations on data cleansing and migration decisions.
Key responsibilities
Analyze, profile, cleanse, validate, and transform data from legacy ERP system for migration to new ERP platform.
Assess data quality issues and determine appropriate treatment of inconsistent or incomplete records.
Make fact-based recommendations on data cleansing and migration decisions.
Work closely with business process owners, ERP functional teams, technical teams, vendors, and project management.
Ensure migrated data is accurate, complete, consistent, traceable, and fit for use in the new ERP.
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience in large-scale ERP data migration.
Experience with complex transactional data.
Ability to work as an individual contributor with limited day-to-day supervision.
Highly analytical mindset.
