Data Analyst - Digital Transformation

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Data Analyst to lead the analysis and design phases of our digital transformation projects. This role requires a deep understanding of both finance and IT principles, with a strong focus on leveraging Microsoft's technology offerings. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to understand their current business processes, architect solutions, and define future-state reporting and business intelligence strategies. You will be instrumental in driving innovation, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering comprehensive solutions that encompass people, process, and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and design phase of digital transformation projects, focusing on financial and IT domains.
• Engage with clients to understand existing business processes, architecture, and reporting mechanisms.
• Define and document future-state reporting and business intelligence requirements for clients.
• Identify and define new application or process requirements when current systems do not meet client needs.
• Conduct workshops and collaborate with key enterprise clients to gather and interpret requirements.
• Define, document, and present proposed solutions back to clients using business analysis frameworks.
• Liaise with project management, scrum masters, development teams, modeling teams, and BI teams to ensure successful solution implementation.
• Prioritize and maintain the accuracy of all delivered solution content.
• Develop solutions that integrate people, process, and technology.
• Assist in identifying and mitigating risks and challenges associated with solution implementation.
• Share project experience and knowledge to enhance team performance.
• Lead and guide the rollout of new technical solutions and changes.
• Continuously explore opportunities for system improvement.
• Plan solution enhancements, recommend software and systems, and translate business/system requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide expert advice and skills to identify shortfalls, close gaps, and improve existing solutions.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure successful project delivery aligned with customer requirements.
• Collaborate with business, development, and reporting teams to create financial and operational models.
• Conduct deep dives to understand processes, reporting, and transaction flows.
• Design and implement visual reporting, insights, and analysis of financial and operational information.
• Identify improvements to enhance customer return on investment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in data analysis and digital transformation.
• Proven experience working with financial systems and financial system integrations.
• Expertise in data warehousing.
• Excellent analytical, system design, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand, analyze, and utilize banking information.
• Proactive in identifying potential problems and proposing solutions.
• Skilled in translating and simplifying complex requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in working with large datasets.
• Demonstrated ability to identify, understand, and communicate complex issues concisely to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong inclination towards automation and optimization of routine tasks.
• Experience thriving in fast-paced environments with strict deadlines and ambiguous situations.
• Ability to multitask with several priorities.
• Highly analytical, detailed-oriented, with strong conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Natural curiosity and a passion for technology.
• Mastery of data analytics: profiling, scoping, and data quality.
• Proficiency in business writing.
• Understanding of Governance, Risk, and Controls.
• Familiarity with Institute of Internal Auditors standards.
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and software/systems.

• Expertise in Microsoft technology offerings.
