Data Analyst

We are hiring a Data Analyst on behalf of our client. This role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to uncover insights that drive smarter business decisions. Role & responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and analyze data
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
• Create charts and visualizations to present findings clearly to stakeholders
• Track key business metrics (KPIs) and share regular performance reports
• Support business teams by answering data-related questions and ad-hoc requests
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across reports
• Collaborate with product, marketing, finance, and operations teams
• Document data processes, definitions, and reporting standards

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• 0 to 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or related role (internships count)
• Strong knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing data
• Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Looker)
• Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
• Good understanding of statistics and data interpretation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills, able to explain insights to non-technical teams
