Job Title: Data Analyst - Power BI

Reporting to Title: Head of Data Visualization

Location: Sathorn, Bangkok

Work Type: Full-time (Hybrid)

Main Objectives and Activities:

The ideal candidate is a strong Power BI specialist who can act as a bridge between Business, Data and IT teams. This role is not limited to building dashboards. The successful candidate is expected to understand the decision-making context, challenge initial requests and recommend the most relevant analytical solution. The candidate will help during our journey.

Responsibilities/ Job Description:

Business Understanding & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Understand business challenges, especially in a banking, finance, risk or compliance environment.

• Challenge and clarify user requirements to identify the most relevant analytical solution.

• Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders and translate business needs into clear technical specifications.

• Help improve decision-making through relevant, reliable and accessible insights.

Power BI Development & Data Visualization

• Design, develop and maintain clear, high-performing and user-oriented Power BI dashboards and reports.

• Translate business requirements into data models, KPIs, visualizations and actionable reports.

• Apply data visualization best practices to ensure reports are intuitive, readable and adapted to business audiences.

• Build robust, scalable and maintainable data models.

Quality, Delivery & Self-Management

• Optimize Power BI reports and data models in terms of performance, loading time and user experience.

• Ensure data quality, consistency and reliability across reports.

• Contribute to the standardization of Power BI best practices within the organization.

• Independently manage the full development lifecycle: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment and support.

• Provide user support and troubleshoot Power BI-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Power BI Specialist, BI Developer, Data Analyst or similar role.

• Good understanding of banking sector, financial or regulatory environments.

• Ability to interact effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently in an international environment.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.

Language skills:

• Fluent in English (mandatory).

Experience and Skills Required:

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, SQL and data modeling.

• Row-Level Security, workspace management and access control.

• Performance optimization of datasets and reports.

Business & Soft Skills

• Ability to understand business needs beyond the initial request.

• Excellent communication skills with non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborative mindset and ability to work with international teams.
