Job Description
- Performs data cleaning, integration, validation, and preparation of standardized analytic files
- Supports dashboard updates, maintenance, and routine reporting across program workstreams
- Develops and maintains databases, data collection systems, and analytic workflows that optimize efficiency and data quality
- Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends and patterns in complex datasets
- Reviews data outputs, reports, and performance indicators to identify and resolve data quality issues
- Collaborates with program analysts and internal staff to ensure data outputs meet project requirements and timelines
- Assists with preparation of data summaries, visualizations, and materials for stakeholder review
- Supports internal knowledge management and documentation of data processes and methodologies
- 2–4 years of relevant data analysis experience
- Must be willing and able to work onsite in Washington, DC
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate large amounts of information with accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with platforms such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, or similar tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- All contractor personnel must pass a background check with no evidence of federal, state, or local felony charges or convictions prior to assignment
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (e.g., R, Python, SPSS, SAS)
- Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel)
- Experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience supporting federal or state-funded initiatives
- Familiarity with data governance practices and principles
