Data Architect

Salary: $140 - $165 p.h.

The Network are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join a Federal Government department, supporting enterprise data architecture, governance and information management initiatives.

12 months x2 12 month extensions

Canberra preferred

Must hold minimum Baseline Security Clearance

You will be responsible for designing and governing enterprise data models, establishing data architecture standards and improving how data is managed, integrated and reused across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop enterprise, conceptual, logical and physical data models.
  • Establish data architecture standards, frameworks and reusable patterns.
  • Implement data governance across metadata, lineage, data quality, stewardship, master and reference data.
  • Provide architecture assurance and guidance across projects and data initiatives.
  • Work with business and technical stakeholders to define information requirements.
  • Drive improvements in data management maturity, integration and interoperability.

We are looking for:

  • Strong experience as a Data Architect / Enterprise Data Architect.
  • Extensive enterprise data modelling and architecture experience.
  • Strong data governance, metadata, lineage, MDM and data quality capability.
  • Experience providing architecture assurance and technical leadership.
  • Australian Government experience and knowledge of privacy, security and data governance requirements will be highly regarded.

Australian Citizenship required and active/inactive security clearance.
