Data Center Engineer
Summary
Supports day-to-day data center operations in Zurich as the first point of contact for incidents and recovery: hardware break-fix on Cisco systems, rack-and-stack, copper/fibre network patching, and server patching for migrations and installs. Key tech: Cisco switching, SAN-attached networks, Fluke test equipment, request management systems.
In this role you will support Data Center Operations, advising on infrastructure issues and acting as the first point of contact for incidents and recovery. You will contribute to design and implementation tasks, supporting migration and relocation projects, and ensure reliable operation of critical IT environments. The position offers exposure to global IT infrastructure and a collaborative team focused on continuous improvement and performance. Your work helps keep data centers secure, scalable and efficient while serving customer requirements.
