Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in SQL, ETL/ELT development, Data Warehousing, and Data Modeling. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building scalable data pipelines, developing analytical data models, and delivering reliable data solutions for business intelligence and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data workflows.
• Build and optimize data models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, integration, and validation.
• Develop complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.
• Implement dimensional data models using Star Schema and Snowflake Schema.
• Work on data warehousing concepts, data integration, and transformation processes.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across data platforms.
• Collaborate with BI, analytics, and business teams to understand data requirements.
• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and improve data processing performance.

Mandatory Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, or Data Modeling.
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL and database development.
• Experience in ETL/ELT development and data pipeline management.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing and Dimensional Data Modeling.
• Knowledge of Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Fact and Dimension tables.
• Experience in data transformation, data integration, and data validation.
• Hands-on experience with Python/PySpark for data processing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS, Synapse, or AWS Glue.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Redshift, or other cloud data warehouses.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/reporting tools.
• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality practices.

Candidate Profile

• Candidates with strong Data Engineering and Analytics backgrounds.
• Must have practical experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Should possess strong SQL querying and optimization skills.
• Experience in designing and implementing analytical and dimensional data models.
• Ability to handle large datasets and complex data transformations.
• Should have experience working on end-to-end data engineering projects.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
