Consultant / Data Engineer We are looking for an independent consultant who will help our clients bridge traditional, enterprise‑grade data platforms with modern cloud technologies. In this role you will be a key contributor to data integration and migration projects, combining the advanced capabilities of the Informatica platform with the latest Microsoft analytics and AI solutions, including Microsoft Fabric and Azure AI.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL/ELT processes using Informatica platforms (PowerCenter or IDMC/IICS) as well as Microsoft technologies such as Data Factory and Synapse Spark.
- Support the migration of data processes and data warehouses from on‑premises environments and Informatica‑based systems to the OneLake cloud repository within Microsoft Fabric.
- Implement data governance standards, maintain data quality, and manage data lineage across Informatica and Microsoft ecosystems.
- Leverage built‑in AI capabilities, such as Microsoft Fabric Copilot and Azure OpenAI services, to automate and optimise data processing.
- Collaborate with architects and enterprise clients to optimise information flows within hybrid data architectures.
Requirements (Must‑Have)
- Minimum 3–4 years of commercial experience as a Data Engineer or ETL Consultant.
- Hands‑on experience with Informatica tools such as PowerCenter, Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), and Data Quality.
- Experience with Azure services (e.g., Data Factory, Azure SQL) and familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong knowledge of advanced SQL and Python; PySpark experience is a plus.
- Fluent in Polish and English (minimum B2 level) to work with corporate documentation and enterprise systems.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate project status clearly to stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Microsoft certifications such as DP‑600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer) and/or DP‑203 (Azure Data Engineer), or official Informatica certifications.
- Knowledge of master data management (MDM) and/or data governance concepts.
- Basic understanding of Power BI and its integration with semantic data models.
