Data engineer (12-month renewable contract) at BICRM's Johannesburg office, focused on cloud migration, data modelling, building and managing data pipelines, hybrid cloud/on-prem analytics infrastructure, and deploying and maintaining machine learning models. Requires 6+ years of data engineering experience; South African citizens or permanent residents only.

Are you an experienced data engineer with cloud migration and at least 6 years data engineering experience? Have you done the following in your previous data engineering roles:
- Conducted data modelling on existing and emerging transactional and business intelligence data assets to inform data architecture?;
- Designed, created and managed data pipelines
- Developed, implemented and reviewed data-related architecture, infrastructure, processes, and procedures?;
- Developed infrastructure to support hybrid data and analytics projects, integrating cloud and on-premise hosted services?;
- Implemented cloud-based data analytics infrastructure?
- Understanding of Machine Learning concepts.
- Demonstrated experience in DevOps and/or DataOps.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries.
- Experience with the deployment and maintenance of machine learning models.
