Company based in Pretoria is looking for a Data Engineer / Scientist to join their team on a contract until Dec 2026.

South African citizens / Permanent Residents with SA ID number.

3 – 5 years of experience in the field of Data Science.
Strong background in mathematics and good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clean ITC/credit record and no criminal record.

Develop data science solutions and integrate and scale these solutions into MLOps pipelines.
Implement analytical algorithms for object detection, segmentation, classification, and recognition.
Provide support on Low code, no code solutions for business teams.
Evaluate LLM output and compare LLM configurations.
Provide complete application lifecycle development, deployment, and operations support for Big Data solutions and infrastructure.
Manage the expectations of business product owners, ensuring that healthy synergy exists between the business and feature team.
Plan epics and sprints, ensuring that business needs are accurately translated into technical tasks for a feature team to execute.
Discover insights and identify business opportunities using algorithmic, statistical, and mining techniques.
Interpret the results of statistical and predictive experiments and regression analysis, integrating this into complex business processes.
Analyze data and build reports using data visualization tools such as Qlik and AWS Quicksight.
