Job Description – Quantexa Data Engineer

Position: Quantexa Data Engineer

Employment Type: Permanent

Location: Singapore (Visa Sponsorship Available)

Experience: 3–8 Years

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines using Spark and Scala.
Implement data transformation, aggregation, and enrichment processes for analytics and compliance use cases.
Develop and support Quantexa-based solutions for AML and Financial Crime initiatives.
Integrate and optimize Elasticsearch for indexing, searching, and data retrieval.
Build scalable and fault-tolerant applications using Spark DataFrames, Datasets, and RDDs.
Deploy solutions on OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) and Kubernetes environments.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and platform performance.
Ensure data quality, governance, lineage, and compliance standards are met.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory

Strong hands-on experience with Quantexa implementations and integrations.
Apache Spark and Scala development experience.
Hadoop ecosystem experience (HDFS, Hive, etc.).
Elasticsearch administration, indexing, and query optimization.
OpenShift/Kubernetes and containerized deployments.
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Bitbucket, and Ansible.

Preferred

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
