As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines and architectures that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives across the organization.

Skills & Experience:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes to support business and analytical requirements
  • Build and optimise data architectures, data warehouses, and large-scale data storage solutions
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and availability across platforms
  • Implement data quality, validation, and monitoring processes to ensure data integrity
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions
  • Optimise database performance, query efficiency, and overall system scalability
  • Develop and maintain cloud-based data solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Support data governance, security, and compliance requirements across the data ecosystem
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data engineering standards, frameworks, and best practices

Qualification:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
Minimum 3+ years' experience in a Data Engineer, ETL Developer, Database Developer, or similar role
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and non-relational databases
Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration technologies
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modelling, and big data technologies
Experience with programming languages such as Python, Scala, Java, or similar
Knowledge of data orchestration and workflow tools such as Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, or equivalent
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Experience working in Agile environments and delivering enterprise-scale data solutions will be advantageous
