Asanengineerin engineeringenablementplatform(EEP), you build products and platformsfor our engineers. You contribute directly to creatingastate-of-the-art, self-serviceeco-systemof products andautomation. This is a mission you will not take on solo, but as afull-fledged member of the enablement team.FollowingInner-Sourcing principles, you will work with users and maintainersthroughout the whole organization to fit your ideas into the biggerpicture: Accelerate our product teams, so they can deliver qualitycustomer value quickly andautonomously.

ShadowCatrevolutionizesevidence collection by automating the entire process and presentingit in dashboards. Gone are the days of manually gathering evidence.WithShadowCat, the more you align with other engineeringenablement products, the more automated your evidence collectionbecomes.

ShadowCatalsoprovidesdeepinsights into the efficiency of your software development process.By offering access to standardized metrics and definitions throughintuitive dashboards, you can easilyidentifyareas forimprovement andoptimizeyour workflow. We look atindustry standards such asDORA.

Our main responsibilities:

• End-to-enddevelop our data platform built on Databricks &Kubernetes
• Integratenew data sources (test automation results, deployments,vulnerabilities)
• Utilizedata sources to develop accurate and reliable metrics throughautomatedprocesses
• Contributeto the design and implementation of a scalable data platformarchitecture onAzure
• Youare a part of the larger enablement community and help us improveeveryday
• Youwork with an “open-source and build yourself” mentality in acorporate environment:inner-sourcing

• 5+years of relevant professionalexperience in data engineering, datawarehousing, and software development, preferably in large-scale orcomplexenvironments
• Deepunderstanding of modern dataarchitectures and the ability todesign scalable, maintainable, and future-proof solutions thatalign with businessgoals
• Hands-onexperience with cloud platforms,particularly Azure, including designing and deploying cloud-nativedatasolutions
• Proficientin key technologies such as DBT,Python, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Databricks, Go, and SQL, withthe ability to select and advocate for the right tools for thejob
• Demonstratedexpertiseinoptimizingperformance,reliability, and cost-efficiency ofdata pipelines and analytics workloads,leveragingbestpractices and emergingtechnologies
• Experiencearchitecting and implementing CI/CDpipelines, building robust scrapers,automation scripts, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates tostreamline and standardize deploymentprocesses
• Apassion for navigating and thriving in complex, ambiguousenvironments, with a proactive approach toproblem-solving and continuousimprovement
• Strongarchitectural visionand the abilityto contribute to the technical roadmap, ensuring theproductremainsinnovative, secure, and adaptable tofutureneeds
• Proventrackrecordof coaching and mentoringengineers, fostering a culture oftechnical excellence, code quality, and knowledge sharing withintheteam
• Excellentcommunication skills, with the ability totranslate complex technical concepts to both technical andnon-technicalstakeholders
