What you'll do
- Design and maintain enterprise data architecture, including storage solutions, integration frameworks, and data models.
- Govern schema design and integration standards across source systems.
- Architect and construct data pipelines to ensure data is prepared for reporting and analysis.
- Monitor and optimize system performance to handle increasing data volumes.
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction to project teams.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, analysts, and infrastructure teams to ensure system reliability and scalability.
- Maintain compliance, security, and quality standards for all data systems.
- Manage technical documentation and system architecture specifications.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in data engineering and data architecture, including a track record of delivering large-scale Singapore Government projects.
- 3 to 5 years of experience with AWS infrastructure and native tools such as Glue and CloudWatch.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in data storage, data access, and data modeling, including Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Data Virtualisation.
- 2 to 4 years of experience with REST API and web protocols.
- Ability to integrate AI into data platform design, pipeline construction, and quality verification.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
