Data Engineer

In this role you will turn data into insights by building and governing data assets for dashboards and analyses. You will partner with a cross-functional BI & Data Science team to shape a cloud data platform and deliver datasets that enable data-driven decisions. You’ll focus on ingestion, modelling and data quality to support KPI dashboards, advanced visualisation and storytelling. This is a hands-on, stakeholder-facing role in a collaborative, innovative environment that values initiative and impact.

• Central point for data ingestion and data model development alongside BI specialists
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and datasets
• Monitor data quality and manage data retention on the BI platform
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into useful datasets
• Provide proactive and requested insights to inform decision-making
• Support continuous improvement of the cloud data platform

• 5+ years of professional experience within BI/Data Engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with the Azure Cloud Platform
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory
• Databricks
• Strong proficiency in Python
• SQL
• Professional-level Dutch and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills

• Able to work independently and take responsibility
