Hands-on Data Engineer for a technology consultancy, building and supporting modern data solutions on AWS (migrating to Google Secure Cloud) for a Central Government Defence digital transformation programme, using SQL and Databricks in a secure environment.
Location: Home / Malvern (onsite 3 days a week)
We are looking to recruit an SC Cleared Data Engineer for a leading technology consultancy to join a long-term Central Government programme supporting a major Defence digital transformation initiative.
This is a hands‑on data engineering role working across a broad and evolving technology landscape, with a strong focus on building, developing and supporting modern data solutions within a secure environment.
The current platform is expected to be primarily AWS, with a planned migration towards Google Secure Cloud, so this would suit someone comfortable working across cloud‑based data platforms and adapting to changing technical environments.
This is a hybrid role and you will be expected to work onsite in Malvern 3 days a week.

- Strong SQL
- Experience with Databricks
- Building and maintaining data pipelines
- Data transformation, processing and integration
- Working with large and complex datasets
- Experience delivering scalable and reliable data solutions
