Data Engineer — Enterprise Data Integration

Salary: Rp 6.000.000 – Rp 7.500.000 per month

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to build and implement enterprise data integration solutions for our customers.

Key responsibilities :

• Analyze customer data sources, target systems, and integration requirements.

• Design, develop, configure, and maintain data pipelines connecting databases, APIs, and files.

• Implement data mappings, transformations, validation rules, and incremental loading.

• Configure connections, scheduling, error handling, monitoring, and recovery procedures.

• Test data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and processing performance.

• Deploy integration workflows across development, testing, and production environments.

• Troubleshoot pipeline failures, connectivity issues, and performance bottlenecks.

• Prepare technical documentation, including mappings, configuration records, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with customer IT teams and internal consultants during implementation and handover.

• Complete Informatica training and apply the knowledge to implementation projects.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

• Preferably 3+ years of experience in data engineering, with demonstrated ownership of production data pipelines.

• Strong SQL skills, including joins, aggregations, window functions, and query optimization.

• Hands-on experience developing and operating ETL/ELT pipelines.

• Practical Python skills for data processing, integration, and automation.

• Experience with at least one relational database, such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.

• Experience integrating data from databases, REST APIs, and structured files.

• Understanding of incremental loading, duplicate prevention, retries, and safe pipeline reruns.

• Familiarity with data modeling, data quality checks, and source-to-target reconciliation.

• Working knowledge of Linux, authentication, permissions, and connectivity troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with Git and version control practices.

• Ability to read English technical documentation and learn new platforms independently.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work directly with customer technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with an ETL or workflow orchestration platform.

• Exposure to data warehouses and cloud data platforms.

• Experience implementing solutions in customer environments.

• Familiarity with deployment automation, monitoring, and secure credential management.

• Previous exposure to Informatica or other enterprise data integration tools.
