Summary
Senior SQL/Database Engineer on a 6-month renewable onsite contract in Centurion, working for a client of EQPLUS Technologies. Day to day involves developing, maintaining and tuning enterprise databases and ETL with MS SQL Server, T-SQL and SSIS/SSAS/SSRS, plus BI and analytics platforms like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik and Oracle.
Our client, based in Centurion, is looking for a Senior SQL / Database Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive hands‑on experience in SQL Server, T‑SQL, SSIS, ETL, Oracle, database design and performance tuning, together with strong technical problem‑solving and enterprise data engineering skills. Immediate availability is an advantage.

Core Experience Required
- Extensive MS SQL programming
- Experience running and monitoring a Windows Domain environment and SQL database management systems
- Strong knowledge of analytic and data platforms such as Denodo, Netezza, Ab Initio, Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, Qlik Sense, Python, Oracle, AWS Data Analysis, Snowflake/Snowpark
- Technical and design skills with the ability to develop and maintain databases
- Experience with tools such as SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, MS Office SharePoint Server, MS Visual Studio
