Job Description
- Develop and manage end-to-end data pipelines, from data collection and ETL to reporting and dashboard visualisation
- Handle both recurring and ad hoc data requests from business teams with analytical insights
- Build and maintain dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions
- Support and enhance applications across the data and investment technology stack (Python, SQL, VBA, scripting tools)
- Investigate and resolve data-related issues while ensuring strong data governance practices
- Provide user support for data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse platforms
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions
- Contribute to ongoing projects and support ad hoc technology initiatives
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or integration development
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript
- Proven experience with SQL, ETL processes, and building data pipelines
- Familiarity with data tools such as Tableau, Python, R, or Excel
- Understanding of system architecture, infrastructure, and integration concepts
- Exposure to financial data, investment workflows, or automation tools is advantageous
- Knowledge of tools such as UiPath or Apache Airflow is a plus
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English and Chinese
- Self-motivated team player with strong organisational skills
