Job Description

  • Develop and manage end-to-end data pipelines, from data collection and ETL to reporting and dashboard visualisation
  • Handle both recurring and ad hoc data requests from business teams with analytical insights
  • Build and maintain dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions
  • Support and enhance applications across the data and investment technology stack (Python, SQL, VBA, scripting tools)
  • Investigate and resolve data-related issues while ensuring strong data governance practices
  • Provide user support for data warehouse, data lake, and lakehouse platforms
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient data solutions
  • Contribute to ongoing projects and support ad hoc technology initiatives

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or integration development
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript
  • Proven experience with SQL, ETL processes, and building data pipelines
  • Familiarity with data tools such as Tableau, Python, R, or Excel
  • Understanding of system architecture, infrastructure, and integration concepts
  • Exposure to financial data, investment workflows, or automation tools is advantageous
  • Knowledge of tools such as UiPath or Apache Airflow is a plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills in English and Chinese
  • Self-motivated team player with strong organisational skills
