Your new role
As a Data Engineer, you’ll join the team on a 12 month fixed term basis and focus on building, maintaining and improving data pipelines. You’ll work across a modern data stack including Snowflake, dbt and Airflow to ensure data is reliable, accessible and ready for use across the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and optimise scalable data pipelines
- Develop data transformation workflows using dbt
- Work with Snowflake as a core cloud data platform
- Build and manage data workflows using Airflow
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance
- Support data quality, reliability and availability
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
- Contribute to data engineering standards and best practices
- Commercial experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data focused role
- Strong hands on experience with Snowflake
- Practical experience using dbt
- Experience building and orchestrating workflows with Airflow
- Proven experience designing and building data pipelines
- Strong SQL skills
- Good understanding of modern data engineering practices
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
