Data Engineer – GCP / Terraform / Dynatrace
Summary
Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud data platforms on GCP using Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Dynatrace for observability and automation.
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Platform / Cloud Engineer to design, build, scale, and maintain complex data platforms and cloud architectures. You’ll have strong hands‑on experience with GCP, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Dynatrace, and enterprise data platforms, with a focus on reliability, observability, automation, and performance.
- 5+ years of overall experience building, scaling, and maintaining complex technology systems.
- 4+ years of experience building Data Platforms or complex Cloud architectures, with strong GCP experience preferred.
- Hands‑on experience implementing enterprise monitoring with Dynatrace, covering data pipeline health, data quality, workloads, and infrastructure performance.
- Experience writing, refactoring, and managing stateful Terraform deployments.
- Expert‑level experience creating and managing GitHub Actions and Workflows.
- Deep hands‑on expertise with GCP, particularly BigQuery, GCS, IAM, Cloud Run, and networking.
- Strong experience with Linux, Docker, and Bash scripting.
- Experience managing JVM‑based applications, ideally Apache Spark.
- Good understanding of fundamental data science and data engineering concepts.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Google Cloud certifications.
- Experience working with large‑scale data processing platforms, particularly Apache Spark.
- Experience designing highly scalable, resilient, and observable data platforms in enterprise environments.
