Summary
The Data Engineer will build and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows for global financial markets clients using Python, Apache Airflow, and Docker. This role is based in a hybrid environment in Belfast within a technology consultancy.

We're working with a highly regarded technology consultancy delivering complex data solutions for global financial markets clients. Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Data Engineer to join their Belfast team and work on large scale, data intensive platforms within a fast paced engineering environment.
This is a strong opportunity for an engineer who enjoys building robust data pipelines, working with modern tooling, and solving real world technical challenges alongside experienced data and software professionals.

What you'll be doing:
* Building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and workflows
* Developing Python based solutions for data processing and integration
* Working with Apache Airflow to orchestrate data workflows
* Supporting containerised environments using Docker
* Collaborating with engineers, analysts, and client teams on technical delivery
* Contributing to continuous improvement and platform reliability
What you'll bring:
* Strong hands on experience with Python 3
* Experience working with Apache Airflow
* Experience working within Dockerised environments
* Good understanding of data engineering principles and ETL processes
* Strong problem solving and communication skills
* Financial markets or trading domain exposure would be beneficial
