Oerlikon is building a new cloud data platform to enable Analytics, AI and digitalization. We seek a Data Engineer to translate business requirements into solutions on the MS Azure/Fabric platform, located in Brugherio with a hybrid work model.
You will analyze data management needs, design data models, implement storage and integration, and deliver Power BI dashboards and reports. Candidates should have 4+ years in data analytics and strong English/Italian skills.
Analyze business requirements related to data management and analytics. Develop solution concepts, following guidelines, templates and best practices. Implement data management solutions, including integration, transformation, data modelling and storage on Microsoft platforms. Deliver maintenance to developed solutions if necessary. Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information technology or similar. Proven track record of at least 4 years of work experience in data management and analytics (data engineer, data architect, etc). Proficiency in data modeling methodologies and tools (ER diagrams, data flow diagrams, normalization). Experience with cloud data platform solutions including data storage, integration, governance products. Understanding of cloud services for data storage, processing and analytics. Knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD on Azure and GitHub. Competitive compensation Hybrid work model Global team
