About the Role
They're looking for a Data Engineer to join their growing Data Team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end data engineering design, data ingestion pipeline development, and platform support across both on-premise and cloud-based environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust data ingestion and processing pipelines across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams to solve complex data challenges.
- Contribute to continuous improvements in data architecture, data quality, and system reliability.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of total tech experience (Minimum 2+ years specifically in Data Engineering).
Required Skills
- Strong SQL skills for complex data querying, modeling, and transformation.
- Proficiency in a core programming language (Python preferred, though C#, Java, or similar are welcome).
- Software Engineering or Analytics Background (Software Engineering background strongly preferred).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a solid foundation in core data engineering concepts.
- Ability to pass a technical assessment during the selection process.
Preferred Skills
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem.
- Familiarity with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, or Microsoft Fabric.
- Relevant certifications in Azure or Data Engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred, not required).
